Association Webinars: How the Coronavirus Has Changed the Global Energy Scene

Viewers listened and participated as five Past Presidents of IAEE discussed the impact the pandemic has had on international energy markets, key players and sectors of the industry, as well as on government policies. Could this be a watershed for the relationship between industry and government? Or a key development (or setback) in the effort to achieve greater international cooperation in meeting the energy needs and environmental challenges facing the modern world? Will current disruptions in the energy markets hasten a transition to new energy sources, or simply hold back investment in all energy sources? The five panelists bring broad and deep experience to bear on these questions.
